Dust off your lawn chairs and head to downtown East Dundee for the Thirsty Thursday Street Fest! It is the perfect evening setup: local food vendors, a solid selection of craft brews, wine, and cocktails, plus live sets from top-tier Chicago-area bands. Think of it as your monthly excuse to actually hang out in the heart of the community and pretend the weekend has already started.

🏊 Lions Armstrong Memorial Pool, Algonquin

📅 Officially kicks off for 2026 on May 30th.

Algonquin is also hosting a variety of Starfish Swim School programs all summer long, catering to both kids and adults looking to sharpen their skills. Basically, it’s the perfect way to ensure your kids actually learn to swim instead of just aggressively splashing everyone within a five-foot radius.
